Bio

 Talia Newman's work aspires to create experiences of  sensory immersion. Through a playful integration of painting, drawing, film, animation, and (bears, oh my!) installation she teases the viewer into the contemplation of time, using modern vocabulary to describe something of the prehistoric,  some connection to fundamental human experience. And yet treads lightly in doing so.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, she received her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
